New Professional Development Master Plan

The Professional Development Master Plan will be revised this school year and sent to the NH DOE for approval in the summer of 2009. I worked today with the PD committee to begin the revision process. They got a lot done! We have reviewed the guidelines from the state and our current plan and we have started making changes as needed. There are a few big things to tackle but the work will be easily finished by next summer.

Some highlights of the changes are:
  • less emphasis on counting clock hours.
  • more focus on data.
  • more focus on student learning.
If you are interested in what's happening talk to Chuck Yaeger, Laura Bennett, Brent Summers, Melissa LaPan, or Glen Copatch.

Hope you are having a great summer.
